Life Long Learning
For myself, probably the hardest thing about continuing to be a life long learner is using technology to my advantage. Hopefully this class will change that. I have always been a little nervous when it comes to using technology, and my experiences in the past have not always been good. With the way technology is constantly advancing, it is so very important to stay connected and use it to its full advantage. Here's to hoping I can manage that!!!
The easiest thing for me is probably going to be accepting responsibility for my own learning. As a mom I have had to learn that in order to continue on with my education, I have to take full responsibility and not always rely on others as I may have done in the past. It sometimes takes a little extra energy to push myself into it, but I always have a little reminder about who I am doing this for... My daughter!!!
I believe that life long learning is very important, especially for those of us who are interested in going into the education field. Education and technology are constantly evolving and it is up to us as future educators to give ourselves the tools to be effective educators by continuing to learn along with our students.
